Dear all

By the grace of sriya:pathi, AzhwArs and AchAryas, on this auspicious day of thiruvAimozhi uthsavam (rAppaththu) day 1 (part of adhyayana uthsavam) and vaikuNta EkAdhasi, we are happy to release a new section "Mobile Apps" in our website. Currently we have added one Mobile App "srIvaishNava lakshaNam" which is based on a series of articles archived at http://ponnadi.blogspot.in/p/srivaishnava-lakshanam.html. Some mobile phones may not support this type of application. We request individuals to download the same and test it out. Our sincere gratitude to Arunkumar swamy for his efforts and getting this done.

Dear all

On this auspicious final day of thirumozhi uthsavam (pagal paththu) - adhyayana uthsavam, we are happy to release a new section "Videos" in our website. Currently we have added one drama (video) on mAmunigaL's life (http://pillai.koyil.org/?p=903) and another presentation on poigai AzhwAr (http://pillai.koyil.org/?p=889) which is a part of AzhwArs series.

Also, telugu translation of the "gIthA and thiruvAimozhi comparison" presentation (translated by chakravarthy chUdAmaNi ammangar) is added in the presentation section (http://pillai.koyil.org/?page_id=19).

We request everyone to view the contents oneself and engage their children in going through the available content in detail. Please feel free to send your feedback as well.

srIvaishNava thiruvArAdhanam - glories and steps were previously discussed in http://srivaishnavagranthamstamil.wordpress.com/2013/12/13/srivaishnava-thiruvaaraadhanam/ . There are many slOkams/pAsurams that are recited in thiruvArAdhanam and are quoted in this original article. In this new article ( http://srivaishnavagranthamstamil.wordpress.com/2014/12/29/srivaishnava-thiruvaradhanam-pramanams/ ), we can see a full listing of those quoted slOkams and pAsurams.

An e-book (thamizh) is also prepared which includes both the original article and the new article and the same can be downloaded from http://srivaishnavagranthams.wordpress.com/e-books/ . Previously, the thamizh version of this original article was published along with the e-book during the first year completion of our grandfather sri u. vE. AdhinAtha iyengar swamy' parampadha prApthi. This original e-book is amended with this new section.

In srIvaishNava sampradhAyam, thaniyans and vAzhi thirunAmams which highlight the glories of the many AzhwArs and AchAryas are greatly celebrated. thaniyans and vAzhi thirunAmams of particular AzhwAr/AchArya is recited during their thirunakshthram days. We have prepared an initial listing of such vAzhi thirunAmams for the OrAN vazhi guru paramparai and a few other AchAryas.
