aruLALa perumAL emperumAnAr is a dear sishya of srI rAmAnuja and a great scholar. He blessed us with two thamizh prabhandhams named gyAna sAram and pramEya sAram which presents the essence of our sath sampradhAyam. These divine principles are subsequently explained by piLLai lOkAchAryar in his rahasya granthams and are subsequently elaborated by mAmunigaL in his commentaries.
